German International School of Dallas - Preschool
Are you interested in enrolling your child in our school?
Enrollment starts March 1st, 2012
Welcome to the Website of the German International School of Dallas!
The Early Learning Program of German International School of Dallas is designed for 18 month - 5 year old children. Conducted in German, the program is based on the integral part of the Primary Years Program of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB). Though we are not accredited by the IB Program.
Our ELP offers students in age mixed groups a warm environment in which they are stimulated to make their own discoveries about the world around them. Classes have low student-teacher ratios. Classes follow a structured curriculum with clearly defined learning objectives.
We use two highly academically evaluated programs to prepare our students for reading and writing skills and to expose them to mathematical problems.
“Wuerzburger Trainingsprogramm” developed by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schneider at the University of Wuerzburg.
“Zahlenland” developed by Prof. Gerhard Preiss at the University of Heidelberg.
